Bắc Ninh to host major e‑commerce logistics hub

Provincial leaders in Bắc Ninh met on 25 June with top courier firms—including J&T Express, Shopee Express, BEST Express, SF Express, GHN, GHTK and Ninja Van—to discuss establishing a large e‑commerce logistics hub. The proposed hub would centralise warehousing, sorting, customs clearance, packaging and distribution on a 67‑hectare site presented by the Bắc Giang International Logistics Centre (BGL), a national‑level Grade II facility with customs warehouses, an extended air‑cargo depot, an inland customs‑clearance zone and an integrated e‑commerce centre.

BGL highlighted multi‑modal links to the Hữu Nghị border gate, Hai Phong port, Noi Bai and future Gia Bình airports, as well as the upcoming Kép international railway station, connecting the hub to the China‑Singapore transport corridor. Officials expect the hub to shorten delivery times, cut logistics costs, improve customs efficiency and attract further investment, positioning Bắc Ninh as the modern logistics and e‑commerce gateway for northern Vietnam.
