BC SCTP wins Kinshasa Liprobakin basketball championship

Liprobakin Kinshasa basketball BC SCTP BC Chaux Sport Coupe du Congo

BC SCTP (formerly Onatra) has secured the Kinshasa Provincial Basketball League (Liprobakin) championship for the 2025-2026 season. In the men's final held at the Stadium des Martyrs, BC SCTP defeated BC Chaux Sport with a score of 69-55.

Despite BC Chaux Sport leading early in the first quarter, BC SCTP utilized a strong defensive performance to control the subsequent three quarters. This victory marks a consecutive title for the club. In the women's division, CNSS claimed the championship by defeating BC Hatari 70-36.

Both winning clubs are now shifting their focus toward the Coupe du Congo. Success in that national competition is critical, as it serves as the primary pathway for clubs to qualify for major continental tournaments, including the Basketball Africa League (BAL).
