BCA assists 5,000 MSMEs in obtaining halal certification

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has received the ‘Excellence in Advancing Access To Halal Certification For Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs)’ award at the Indonesia Halal Awards 2026. The recognition was presented by the Indonesian Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH).

Through its Bakti BCA program, the bank has assisted 5,000 MSMEs in obtaining halal certification. Data from the Indonesian Ministry of MSMEs indicates that businesses see an average turnover increase of 8.5 percent after securing halal certification. BCA’s support includes workshops aimed at increasing business capacity and market reach.
