Bcc di Busto Garolfo e Buguggiate raises over €102,000 via crowdfunding

The Bcc di Busto Garolfo e Buguggiate has concluded the first edition of its crowdfunding initiative via the Ginger platform, raising over €102,000 to support eight social and cultural projects. The campaign achieved an overfunding rate of 138%, supported by more than 1,200 donors.

The bank implemented a matching mechanism where it provided 30% of the requested funds for each project, provided the promoting association independently raised at least 70% of its goal. The funded initiatives address various community needs, including inclusion, youth, the elderly, disability, culture, sports, and prevention.

Notable projects include music scholarships for children from economically disadvantaged families organized by Associazione Musicale Jubilate ETS, and an initiative by Stare Bene Insieme APS aimed at combating loneliness and sedentary lifestyles in people over 60. Roberto Scazzosi, president of the bank, stated that the results demonstrate the ability of a community to achieve significant results when working together toward common values.
