The current chairman, Arun Singh Dhumal, will be succeeded following the election process.

Other key items on the agenda include the appointment of BCCI representatives to the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the selection of an ombudsman and ethics officer. Additionally, the board will consider a proposal to grant associate membership to the Cricket Association Andaman and Nicobar.
