BCCI to host IPL 2027 auction in Goa this December

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will host the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2027 auction in Goa this December. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed the decision, noting that the auction is returning to India after being held at international venues in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi over the previous three years.

The upcoming event is a mini-auction, meaning teams will be permitted to retain most of their current squads, with only a limited number of players expected to be sold.
