Büchmann Seminare KG hosts info session on senior assistant training

Büchmann Seminare KG is hosting an online information session via Zoom on October 1 to discuss professional training for senior assistants. The program aims to support the growing demand for non-medical assistance, helping elderly individuals maintain independence and live in their own homes longer.

Unlike traditional nursing, senior assistance focuses on daily companionship, conversation, appointment organization, and supporting autonomy to relieve family members. Since 2007, approximately 3,000 individuals have completed the 12-day in-person training, which is offered in Kiel, Hamburg, Berlin, and Nuremberg.

During the session, Anja Mikulla, a senior assistant and coordinator for the Berlin seminars, will discuss daily work routines and address questions regarding the training process and self-employment in the social sector.
