BCI promotes economic empowerment and digital banking in Mozambique
Banco Comercial e de Investimentos (BCI) has highlighted its initiatives to support economic growth and digital integration in Mozambique through two major engagements.
At the VIII National Conference on Women and Gender in Maputo, BCI reaffirmed its commitment to women's economic empowerment. The bank emphasized the need for women to access financing, markets, and value chains to convert economic potential into sustainable income. BCI highlighted its two decades of experience in agribusiness financing, offering specific instruments such as the BCI Sustainable Credit Line, the BCI-FINOVA Agribusiness Credit Line, and the Mutual Guarantee Fund to support productive cycles and local economies.
Additionally, BCI concluded its participation in the 61st Maputo International Trade Fair (FACIM). During the event, the bank promoted its digital banking solutions, including e-Daki and eBanking, through account openings and card issuances. The bank also presented financing solutions for businesses, focusing on sectors such as sustainability, renewable energy, and agribusiness to drive national economic expansion.
