Bückeburg improves Harrl-Runde hiking trail with new footbridge

The Harrl-Runde, a certified hiking trail within the Weserbergland Nature Park, has received infrastructure improvements to enhance hiker comfort. The municipality of Bückeburg has constructed a new footbridge east of the Ruheforst to ensure a safe and continuous crossing over a small stream.

The 8.6-kilometer route is part of the ‘Wanderbares Deutschland’ quality certification. The project, developed in collaboration with the Fürstliche Hofkammer and tourism officials from Bückeburg and Bad Eilsen, aims to increase visitor satisfaction and promote regional hiking. The trail features various landmarks, including the Hexenteich, Idaturm, and Steinerne Tisch.
