BDACS and DevAll Company to build stablecoin-based B2B settlement infrastructure
BDACS and DevAll Company are collaborating to build a B2B cross-border payment and settlement infrastructure that utilizes stablecoins. The system is designed to allow South Korean exporters to receive payments from overseas buyers in stablecoins, such as Tether (USDT) or USD Coin (USDC), and subsequently settle those funds in Korean Won (KRW).
Under this framework, DevAll Company’s service, ‘Cheong-gu-seu’, will handle invoice issuance, payment matching, and electronic tax invoice processing. BDACS will manage the custody and settlement of the digital assets. The partnership aims to reduce transaction fees and settlement times compared to traditional international wire transfers while allowing companies to receive export proceeds without needing to hold digital assets directly.
The companies are also exploring ways to automate accounting by integrating stablecoin payment data with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. While the project aims to bridge the gap between international payments and domestic fund management, the implementation will depend on future regulatory developments regarding foreign exchange reporting and taxation for stablecoin-based trade payments.
