Romania hosts diverse cultural and heritage events across multiple cities
Romania is hosting a variety of cultural and educational events across several cities. In Iași, the Sacrum Festival features the exhibition ‘Sacrul la feminin’, centered on Constantin Brâncuși’s sculpture ‘Prayer’ and highlighting female figures in spiritual and cultural history.
In Bucharest, the ‘Living Museum of Bucharest’ has launched a permanent collection of 68 urban sites, including gardens and community spaces, accessible via a digital map. Additionally, the ‘Sarmalelor Museum’ is opening at the Artisan Food Market to showcase Romanian culinary traditions.
Other regional highlights include educational programs at the ASTRA Museum in Sibiu, a creative workshop for teachers in Bistrița, and an exhibition in Târgu Mureș dedicated to builder Lajos Csiszár. In Bădăcin, a cultural event titled ‘Arc peste timp’ combines a book launch with a concert, while Timișoara hosts the Huniade Castle Medieval Festival. The Transylvanian Ethnographic Museum is also promoting heritage through its ‘Vivanții – Anotimpurile’ project.
