Be My Sunshine TV series cuts episodes and unveils island plot twists in August 2026

The Turkish drama Be My Sunshine, broadcast on Italy’s Canale 5, will change its schedule from 3 August 2026, reducing to one episode per weekday and moving to a 15:45‑16:15 slot. The adjustment makes room for the new series My Sweet Life, which will air at 14:45‑15:45.

In the storyline, entrepreneur Doygun attempts to buy half of the Island of the Swallows, including a restaurant and a mill, to turn it into a large tourist resort. Residents expose his plan as an environmental threat during a fashion event hosted by designer Lodos, who is later revealed to be Ayten, Poyraz’s mother. Meanwhile, Haziran initially plans to leave the island but changes her mind, and Poyraz disappears from a hospital, prompting a community search.

These plot developments are highlighted in the series’ August episode previews, which also feature romantic sub‑plots involving Batu, Idil, and other island inhabitants.
