be quiet! releases Silent Loop 3 AIO cooler as 360 mm units are benchmarked

German cooling specialist be quiet! introduced the Silent Loop 3, the third generation of its all‑in‑one water‑cooling solution. The new model features a redesigned three‑chamber pump that reduces vibration, a larger 1 800 mm² cooling block for faster heat transfer, and upgraded Silent Wings 4 fans optimized for high static pressure. It also adds ARGB lighting that can be controlled via motherboard or external controller and targets high‑end CPUs such as the Ryzen 5 7600X.

In a separate review, eight 360‑mm AIO coolers from manufacturers including Asus, MSI, Corsair, be quiet!, Arctic, Enermax, NZXT and Deepcool were tested on an Intel Core i9‑12900K platform. The evaluation measured cooling performance, pump noise and overall acoustic levels using a standardized loudness test. Prices ranged from under €100 to above €300, and results showed that higher cost does not guarantee superior cooling or quieter operation, underscoring the importance of design factors beyond price.
