Beam Global subsidiary ScoutDI secures West African drone orders

ScoutDI, an industrial drone company currently under acquisition by Beam Global, has secured orders for drones and recurring revenue software from two independent inspection services companies. These orders are intended to support the inspection of floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels in Ghana and Angola.

The Scout 137 drone is designed to inspect tanks and confined spaces, reducing the need for personnel to enter hazardous areas via scaffolding or rope access. The orders are expected to ship and generate revenue during the fourth quarter of 2026.
