BeamNG.drive to launch on PlayStation 5 on October 19

BeamNG has announced that the early access version of its driving simulator, BeamNG.drive, will be released for PlayStation 5 on October 19. The game features a highly realistic soft-body physics engine that simulates vehicle components in real time, allowing for detailed crash expressions and mechanical customization.

New footage reveals that the console version will support local split-screen gameplay for up to four players. The split-screen mode offers flexible layouts and a simplified HUD to maintain visibility. Featured gameplay modes include car football, police chases, rock crawling, and drag racing.

The title includes 12 diverse open-world environments, ranging from tropical jungles to urban areas. Players can engage in a career mode starting from basic vehicles to luxury cars, or participate in various scenarios such as truck deliveries and time trials.
