BEAMS JAPAN announces new retail locations in Kotohira and Asakusa
BEAMS JAPAN is expanding its presence through new retail initiatives in Kagawa and Tokyo.
A permanent, community-focused store, ‘BEAMS JAPAN Kotohira’, is scheduled to open on October 31, 2026, at the 46th step of the Kotohira-gu shrine approach in Kagawa Prefecture. The shop will utilize a building with traditional architectural charm and offer products that integrate local culture, such as Kagawa lacquerware and items inspired by local motifs like the Konpira-inu. A portion of sales from official products created in collaboration with Kotohira-gu will be donated toward the preservation of historical buildings and local culture.
Additionally, a pop-up store will operate within the Senso-ji temple grounds in Asakusa, Tokyo, from September 26, 2026, to February 28, 2027. This location will feature limited-edition items inspired by Edo-period downtown culture, including collaborations with local manufacturers of traditional crafts, paper crafts, and snacks.
