BEAMS launches Super Mario Galaxy movie apparel collection on Aug 1

Japanese fashion label BEAMS is releasing an eight‑item clothing line in partnership with the upcoming animated film The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The collection, available from 1 August at most BEAMS stores and the brand’s online shop, includes open‑collar shirts, T‑shirts, sweatshirts, long‑sleeve tops, caps and a tote bag. Designs feature iconic game motifs such as the Super Mushroom, Question Block and characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Bowser Jr. and Yoshi, with the BEAMS logo re‑imagined in bright “crazy‑color” schemes. Prices range from ¥7,920 for T‑shirts to ¥13,200 for shirts and sweatshirts, with accessories priced around ¥8,250. The film, a sequel to the 2023 Super Mario Bros. Movie, is produced by Illumination’s Chris Meledandri and Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto.

The collaboration highlights BEAMS’ strategy of blending pop‑culture icons with fashion, targeting fans of the Mario franchise and broader consumers seeking playful, graphic apparel.
