Bear breaks into parked car on Romania's Transfăgărășan highway

A bear searching for food entered a parked vehicle on the Transfăgărășan road in the Romanian mountains. The animal forced its way through a side window, prompting local authorities to investigate the incident.

In a separate event, a man was attacked by a bear in a forest near the village of Scutaru, Mănăstirea Cașin, Bacău County. He was rescued by companions, stabilized on site and transported to the Onești Emergency Hospital for further treatment. Police confirmed the bear retreated into the woods and warned residents to avoid feeding or approaching bears and to report sightings immediately.
