Bear Grylls hosts

Prime Video has launched "The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylls," a six-part adventure series featuring cast members from the faith-based drama "The Chosen." The series follows actors including Jonathan Roumie, Elizabeth Tabish, Paras Patel, Noah James, and Luke Dimyan as they engage in survivalist challenges across rugged terrains such as Utah's Castle Valley, the Colorado River, and the Adirondack Forest.

Host Bear Grylls uses the survivalist setting—which includes activities like skydiving, scaling cliffs, and navigating deserts—to facilitate raw, personal conversations regarding faith and doubt. Grylls noted that the format allowed for more outspoken discussions about spirituality compared to his previous programming. The series, which premiered on August 9, 2026, also includes "The Chosen" creator Dallas Jenkins as a participant.
