Bears sighted near Robidnica in Slovenia

Residents in the Novaki local community have reported new bear sightings in the Robidnica area, specifically at the same location where animals were previously spotted. Recent observations include a female bear accompanied by a cub crossing a road, prompting warnings for locals and visitors to exercise extreme caution.

This follows earlier reports from early October when three bear cubs were seen on the route between Počivalo and Robidnica. Authorities have advised that proximity to a mother bear increases the risk of perceived threats to her young. While bear sightings have also been reported in Pohorje, Dramelj, and Idrija, it is unclear if these involve the same individual animals.
