Beartooth releases sixth studio album ‘Pure Ecstasy’

Metalcore band Beartooth has released their sixth studio album, ‘Pure Ecstasy’, marking their debut with Fearless Records. The album, largely written and produced by frontman Caleb Shomo, features collaborations with producer Jordan Fish.

Lyrically, the record focuses on themes of self-discovery, healing, and self-acceptance. Shomo has used the album to reflect on his personal journey, including his coming out as gay, a transition that has been reflected in both the emotional depth and the evolving musicality of the band. The sound balances traditional heavy metalcore elements—such as aggressive riffs and screams—with more melodic, pop-influenced, and experimental textures.

To support the release, the band has launched a music video for ‘Beautiful Again’ and announced the ‘Pure Ecstasy World Tour’. The tour is scheduled to begin in Europe in September 2026, followed by a North American leg starting in November 2026.
