Beasiswa Kalla selects 64 students for first wave of 2026 scholarships

The first wave of the 2026 Beasiswa Kalla scholarship program has concluded, with 64 students from 124 universities across Sulawesi and Java selected as recipients. These students were chosen from a total of 1,236 applicants.

Sitti Nurkaya Basri, Program Manager of Educare at LAZ Hadji Kalla, emphasized the program's commitment to inclusivity, noting that beneficiaries include students from both public and private universities in both major cities and regional areas. The five institutions with the highest number of recipients are Universitas Hasanuddin, UIN Alauddin Makassar, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Universitas Islam Ahmad Dahlan Sinjai, and Universitas Negeri Makassar.

Registration for the second wave of the 2026 scholarship program is currently open and will remain available until August 31, 2026.
