In the game Beast of Reincarnation, the cooking and food systems serve two distinct purposes: managing hunger during exploration and providing permanent stat increases for characters. While rations used during exploration help maintain hunger levels and enable health regeneration outside of combat, meals prepared by Kagura at the Cleanse Walker offer lasting character progression.

Players cannot access full cooking features immediately. The system is unlocked once Kagura joins the Cleanse Walker crew. Once unlocked, players must find recipes during exploration and submit them to Kagura through a research system. While research takes time, players can continue exploring or fighting while the process is active. To maximize progression, it is recommended to collect recipes early and keep research tasks running constantly to expand the variety of available meals.
