Beate Oswald shares insights on nature photography at Ammersee

Award-winning nature photographer Beate Oswald shares insights into capturing wildlife and natural landscapes, specifically focusing on the Ammersee region in South Bavaria. Oswald, who has received recognition from the Society for Nature Photography for 2025 and 2026, emphasizes the importance of attentive observation and local knowledge.

She highlights that profound photographic subjects can often be found close to home, such as the diverse birdlife and flora found around the Ammersee. Her approach involves studying the environment closely to identify potential motifs, such as the interplay of light on water or the movement of birds near observation towers.
