Beaten Path tactical RPG announced for 2027 release

Peacebreak Studio, led by solo developer Jarett Gross, announced the tactical turn‑based RPG *Beaten Path* for a 2027 launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. The game draws inspiration from *Fire Emblem* and *Final Fantasy Tactics*, featuring grid‑based combat, a dual‑job system, over 25 fully voice‑acted characters and extensive customisation.

The project’s Kickstarter was fully funded in six days, and the studio has partnered with publisher Wales Interactive to broaden its reach. Gross said the five‑year development effort grew far beyond his original vision, and the community’s support has been crucial as the title moves toward release.
