BeatHub acquires full ownership of Movistar Arena Bogotá

BeatHub, the Colombian entertainment group founded by the creators of TuBoleta, has acquired the remaining 50% stake in the Movistar Arena Bogotá from the Chilean group BeLive. This transaction grants BeatHub 100% ownership of the venue through its subsidiary, Colombiana de Escenarios.

Led by CEO Eduardo Oléa, BeatHub aims to integrate various services within the event chain, including ticketing, technical production, promotion, and catering. The Movistar Arena, which opened in 2018, has hosted approximately 400 artists and attracted over 5.5 million attendees. In 2025, the venue hosted 168 events with nearly 900,000 visitors.

The company previously sought authorization from the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC) to become the sole shareholder, noting that the move was a shareholder reconfiguration of an entity where BeatHub already maintained competitive control.
