Beatrice Borromeo's Secretive Film 'Blessed' Stirs Italian Media
Italian noblewoman and journalist Beatrice Borromeo, wife of Monaco royal Pierre Casiraghi, is preparing a new audiovisual production titled "Blessed." The project is being kept under total secrecy: no synopsis, cast or release date has been announced. A clapperboard bearing the date 17 June 2026 was posted by crew members on social media, followed by a brief, mood‑driven teaser reel that offers no narrative context.
The film reunites Borromeo with cinematographer Clarissa Cappellani, who recently shot Nadia Fall’s feature "Brides," which premiered in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Borromeo’s earlier directorial effort, "Il Principe," was released on Netflix in 2023. The unusual level of discretion surrounding "Blessed" suggests a work of significant thematic weight or institutional sensitivity, adding to the anticipation in Italian media circles. Borromeo also has a separate documentary on the Grimaldi family in development.
