Beatrice Egli makes acting debut in ‘Team Sonnenhof’

Schlager singer Beatrice Egli has made her acting debut in the Sat.1 series ‘Die Landarztpraxis – Team Sonnenhof’. Playing the character Céline Huber, Egli enters the fictional world of the show to visit her old friend Lilli Lamminger.

Despite previous guest appearances in series such as ‘Unter uns’ where she appeared as herself, this role marks her first time portraying a fictional character. Egli, who has completed acting training, expressed her excitement about the challenge of immersing herself in a new role. She also noted her long-standing dream of appearing in the ‘Rosamunde Pilcher’ series.

Initial viewership data for the premiere showed a boost in reach for the series, recording 0.73 million viewers, which was the highest reach for the spin-off to date. While the younger demographic audience remained relatively stable at 4.2 percent, the overall reach saw a positive trend following Egli’s appearance.
