Beatrice Merlo leaves Inter Women for Parma

After eight seasons with Inter Women, defender Beatrice Merlo announced she will join Parma. In an Instagram farewell she recalled joining Inter as a teenager, playing over 150 Serie A matches, helping the side win youth titles, achieve promotion to Serie B and qualify for the Champions League. Merlo said the decision was not her own, noting the club and she have decided to go separate ways.

The move marks a new chapter for the 1999‑born Italian defender, who spent her career progressing from local pitches to the San Siro, and now looks to continue her professional development with Parma’s women’s team.
