Beatriz Castela opens 'ERROR 422' exhibition in Cáceres

Artist Beatriz Castela has launched a new exhibition titled ‘ERROR 422’ at the Sala de Arte El Brocense in Cáceres, Spain. The exhibition, which opened this Friday, features a collection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, and installations.

The title refers to a computer error code where a system recognizes a request's structure but cannot process its content. Castela uses this concept to explore the limits of human perception and how technology influences the way individuals interpret visual information. The show invites viewers to question appearances and distinguish between merely identifying an image and truly understanding its meaning.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Esther Gutiérrez, the First Vice President of Territory, Equality, and Culture of the Provincial Council. It will remain open to the public with free admission until November 21.
