Beau Greaves won the Women’s World Matchplay for a record third time, defeating fellow Englishwoman Fallon Sherrock 6‑5 in a dramatic final at the Winter Gardens venue in Blackpool. Greaves entered the match as the top‑ranked player on the Women’s Series Order of Merit and held a 5‑3 lead before Sherrock fought back to level the match at 5‑5. In the deciding leg Greaves hit a 145 checkout and a double 10 to secure the victory.

The win extends Greaves’ dominance on the circuit, making her the sole holder of three Women’s World Matchplay titles, while Sherrock suffered her third consecutive final loss at the Blackpool event. Both players praised each other's performances after the match.
