Beaune police arrest two suspects during residential burglary

Police in Beaune arrested two individuals, a 17-year-old minor and a 49-year-old man, following a residential burglary. The incident occurred around 4:00 AM on Sunday, August 16, in a neighborhood near a Lidl supermarket.

A local resident alerted authorities after hearing noises coming from a house. Upon arrival, officers discovered a hole cut into the lower part of a garage door using a saw. After setting up an ambush, police intercepted the suspects as they attempted to exit the premises. Both individuals admitted to the crime; the minor has been placed under the care of child social services, while the adult faces legal proceedings.
