Beauty of Joseon unveils low‑dose retinol moisturizer using liposome delivery
Beauty of Joseon introduced the Revive Firming Moisturizer, a retinol product formulated with a 0.01% concentration, far lower than typical anti‑aging creams. The retinol is fermented from plant sugars and encapsulated in controlled‑release liposomes that penetrate the epidermis without triggering inflammation. The formula also contains the brand’s exclusive Ginseng Ceramide™ blend of fermented ginseng oil and phytosphingosine, intended to support the skin barrier during retinol exposure.
Clinical testing over four weeks showed an average 11.85% reduction in fine‑line appearance, a 19.69% decrease in sagging skin volume, and a 9.01% drop in surface roughness. Priced at €24 for a 60 ml tube, the moisturizer is positioned as an affordable alternative to premium retinol products, while drawing on the traditional Korean Hanbang heritage that emphasizes gentle, sustained treatment.
The launch targets markets such as France and other regions where the brand is sold, leveraging the combination of Korean skincare philosophy and modern delivery technology.
