Beauty pageants and regional contests held in Colombia and Chile

In Arauca, Colombia, 20-year-old medical student Mariangel Hernández has officially registered to represent Comuna 3 in the Reinado Santa Bárbara de Arauca 2026. The pageant is part of the festivities honoring the city's patron saint and aims to highlight regional culture and traditions.

In Chile, the third edition of Miss Calle Larga concluded with the crowning of Carla Reinoso (representing Los Maitenes) as Señorita Calle Larga and Constanza Deumacan (representing Los Jardines) as Miss Calle Larga. The competition included four months of training in public speaking, makeup, and runway walking.

Additionally, the Miss Los Andes pageant in the Aconcagua Valley has opened applications for its 2027 representative. The contest seeks women aged 13 to 50 to serve as ambassadors for the region's tourism and values, with the application deadline set for October 31.
