Beauty pageants in Dominican Republic open for 2027 editions

Two major beauty pageants in the Dominican Republic have announced preparations for their 2027 editions.

Miss Grand Punta Cana officially launched its 2027 competition with the presentation of seven candidates representing various sectors of the tourist zone, including Friusa, Avenida España, Downtown, and Verón. The program aims to combine runway training with leadership and social work, featuring activities with children's foundations to promote local tourism. A reality series documenting the candidates' preparation is scheduled to begin on October 24.

Separately, MINI República Dominicana, organized by Gatsby Dominicana, has opened registrations for its 2027 edition. The competition is open to girls and adolescents aged 4 to 17. The program focuses on personal development, including stage expression, social etiquette, and discipline. Participants in the upcoming edition will also have the opportunity to model at the Punta Cana Fashion Kids event.
