Beauty training programs launched in Brazil to promote female entrepreneurship
Professional training initiatives in Brazil are focusing on the beauty sector to encourage financial independence and entrepreneurship among women.
In the Jardim Noroeste indigenous community, the Executive Secretariat for Women (Semu) concluded a eyebrow design course held from October 26 to 28. The program was brought directly to the community to overcome transportation barriers faced by residents. Participants noted that such training allows them to work independently and manage childcare more effectively.
In Manaus, the Special Projects Management Unit (UGPE) is conducting a similar eyebrow design course at the Bittencourt Social Center. This initiative, held in partnership with the Amazonas Technological Education Center (Cetam), is aimed at beneficiaries of the Prosamin+ program and local residents. The curriculum covers facial anatomy, visagism, symmetry, and biosafety to prepare students for the professional aesthetics market.
