Beauvais man imprisoned after driving without a license twice in five days

In Beauvais, Khameron Malerbi has been sent to prison following a series of traffic violations. Malerbi, who has a history of driving without a license, was intercepted by police twice within a five-day period in early August.

During the first stop on August 3, officers discovered narcotics inside his vehicle in addition to the lack of a valid driver's license. He was intercepted again on August 8 under similar circumstances. Due to his status as a repeat offender and the presence of drugs, the Beauvais court ordered him to await his trial in custody. His case has been scheduled for a hearing on October 29.
