Beaver Local and McDonald win Suburban League cross country meets

In recent Suburban League cross country action at the Youngstown State University course, the Beaver Local boys' team secured a victory with 48 points, finishing ahead of McDonald (96) and Columbiana (97). Luke Warrick led the Beaver Local runners with a second-place finish. For the girls' competition, McDonald took first place with 24 points, followed by Poland (102) and Canfield (115). Naomi Sheesley of McDonald earned the top individual spot.

Upcoming Suburban League cross country events include a meet hosted by Columbiana at the Canfield Fairgrounds, featuring sixteen competing schools such as Crestview, East Liverpool, and United.
