Beaver Local and Minerva secure golf victories

In recent high school golf competitions, the Beaver Local boys team won a quad match at Mountaineer’s Woodview Golf Course with a score of 160, ahead of Weir (167), Oak Glen (169), and Weirton Madonna (191). Eli Stewart led the Beaver Local boys with a 37.

The Beaver Local girls team defeated Southern Local 173-216, led by McKenzie Ash with a 39.

Meanwhile, the Minerva girls golf team maintained an undefeated season, moving to 10-0 after sweeping Carrollton and Heartland Christian at Great Trail. Minerva finished with a total of 167, securing a 57-stroke victory. Peyton Beaumariage recorded the low round for Minerva with a 39.
