Beaver Valley Nitehawks launch inaugural BCHC Junior A schedule for 2026‑27 season

Beaver Valley Nitehawks British Columbia Hockey Conference Junior A schedule Kootenay Division Top Prospects Game

The Beaver Valley Nitehawks will begin their first season in the British Columbia Hockey Conference (BCHC) on September 19, 2026, hosting the Fernie Ghostriders. The BCHC, the sole BC Hockey‑sanctioned Junior A league, fields 22 clubs that will play a 50‑game regular season (25 home, 25 away) across four geographic divisions.

In the six‑team Kootenay Division, the Nitehawks will face the Nelson Leafs, Grand Forks Border Bruins, Fernie Ghostriders, Kimberley Dynamiters and Columbia Valley Rockies, completing 44 games within the division. The league will host a Top Prospects Game on November 24 in Delta’s Sungod Arena. A holiday break pauses play from December 21‑28, with the season resuming on December 29. Exhibition games start September 11‑12 against the Nelson Leafs, followed by a road trip to Kimberley on September 14 and a home game versus the Grand Forks Border Bruins on September 16.
