BEB5 Okinawa Seragaki to host Bingata traditional craft winter event

BEB5 Okinawa Seragaki by Hoshino Resorts has announced its inaugural winter event, ‘Bingata Chill Night,’ scheduled to run from December 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027. The event is designed to introduce guests to Bingata, a traditional Okinawan craft, through a casual and modern lens.

The public space known as ‘TAMARIBA’ will be illuminated with lanterns featuring Bingata designs, creating a festive outdoor atmosphere suitable for Okinawa’s mild winter climate. To complement the visual experience, the hotel will offer an ‘Original Bingata Parfait’ for 1,500 yen, which includes seasonal local ingredients like tangan citrus puree and island banana gelato, topped with a Bingata-patterned cookie.

Additionally, guests can participate in a digital craft activity where they use tablets to color Bingata designs, which are then printed as custom stickers for personal use. The event is open to hotel guests without the need for prior reservations.
