Rexha stated that the attempt to “shoot her shot” was unsuccessful, noting that Drake either did not see the message or chose to ignore it.

Rexha also recounted an encounter with the rapper at an awards show where she addressed him informally, resulting in a reprimand from his security team. While Rexha has recently been the subject of dating speculation regarding Jordan Clarkson, she has clarified that the two are merely friends.
