Bebel and Olavo from 'Paraíso Tropical' launch new vertical short‑form series on Globoplay

Globo will repurpose the iconic duo Bebel and Olavo, portrayed by Camila Pitanga and Wagner Moura in the 2007 telenovela "Paraíso Tropical," into a vertical‑format series for its streaming platform Globoplay. The new “novelinha” consists of bite‑sized episodes of up to two minutes, designed for mobile viewing. The rollout begins next Tuesday, continuing Globo's strategy of creating short‑form, mobile‑friendly dramas after earlier successes with characters such as Angel from "Verdades Secretas" and Bibi from "A Força do Querer".
