BEBKA analyzes regional products to boost economic value in TR41 region
The Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA) has released a value chain analysis report as part of the ‘Anadoludakiler’ Project. The study aims to transform the local production potential of the TR41 region into economic added value and support sustainable regional development.
The report evaluates eight unique products: Hasanağa artichoke, raspberry, blackberry, and blueberry from Bursa; meerschaum from Eskişehir; and Çukurören pepper, İnhisar pomegranate, and Gölpazarı walnut from Bilecik. The analysis covers the entire process from production to marketing, including cultivation, processing, storage, distribution, and sales.
Key findings highlight the need to strengthen producer organizations, improve processing and marketing capacities, and enhance branding to increase competitiveness. The report is intended to serve as a roadmap for producers, public institutions, local governments, and the private sector to create new economic opportunities and preserve local values.
