Bełchatów and Rząśnia host local running events in Poland

On 25 October 2026, the town of Bełchatów will stage the VI Bieg Uliczny “Piątka szyta na miarę”. The main 5 km race, certified by the Polish Athletic Association, starts at 11:00 on Plac Narutowicza and is limited to 200 runners aged 16 years or older, with a 70 zł entry fee. Age‑group categories and an OPEN classification will award cash prizes and trophies. A family 2.5 km relay for three‑person teams (15 teams, 120 zł per team) and a 100 m “Dwarf” race for children under 7 (80 participants, 10 zł) are also scheduled.

A separate event, Runmageddon LITE, has been moved to 13 September 2026 in Rząśnia due to expected adverse weather. Adult participants pay 20 zł, while children enter for free; earlier registrants will receive refunds. The obstacle‑course format includes Kids and Family races, with starts at 13:30 and 15:15 respectively. Competitors receive a medal, bandana and a gift set. The event runs from 13:00 to 17:30 on ul. 1 Maja, offering mud, obstacles and family‑friendly entertainment.
