Bełchatów public library to close adult branch for inventory

The Municipal and District Public Library in Bełchatów has announced a temporary closure of its adult lending branch located at ul. Kościuszki 9. The facility will be closed from October 1 to October 16, 2026, to allow staff to conduct an inventory of library materials.

During this period, the children's lending branch will remain open and continue to operate under its regular schedule. To accommodate readers with existing loans, all books from the adult section will be automatically extended until October 19, 2026.

Readers can still return books during the closure using two automated book lockers: the ‘BIBLIOTEKA GŁÓWNA’ locker at ul. Kościuszki 9 and the ‘GWAREK’ locker at os. Dolnośląskie 204 B.
