Bełchatów turtle sculptures return to Plac Narutowicza

Legendary turtle sculptures have returned to Plac Narutowicza in Bełchatów following a major renovation of the city center. The sculptures, which served as a childhood symbol for generations of residents, were missing during the summer demolition and reconstruction phase.

The renovation project focused on de-concreting the area, adding new greenery, creating more relaxation zones, installing a new playground, and restoring the fountain. Following the completion of the works, the city administration confirmed the return of the iconic animal statues to their original location.
