Beck performs on The Tonight Show with Sacha Baron Cohen

Musician Beck performed his new single “In the Night” from his latest album, Ride Lonesome, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The performance featured an orchestral arrangement and included actor Sacha Baron Cohen, who played the cello.

During his interview, Beck discussed the direction of his new album and revealed that he turned down a role in the 2001 film Zoolander. He noted that he was told Owen Wilson’s character, Hansel, was partially based on him, adding that his refusal to participate led to David Bowie taking the role.

Sacha Baron Cohen also appeared on the program to discuss his directorial debut, Ali G: Who Iz I?, which is scheduled for theatrical release on October 23rd.
