Becky Lynch reclassified as babyface on WWE RAW

WWE has reportedly updated Becky Lynch’s internal character classification to a “babyface” on the RAW roster. This shift follows a prolonged period as a heel that began after WrestleMania 41, when Lynch betrayed her tag team partner, Lyra Valkyria.

Lynch’s recent actions have blurred the lines of her alignment, particularly during her involvement in the rivalry between Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer. During a WWE live event in Chile, Lynch served as a special guest referee for a match between Morgan and Vaquer. In a controversial moment, Lynch declined to count a decisive pinfall for Morgan, which ultimately allowed Vaquer to secure the championship.

While WWE’s internal records now categorize her as a babyface, her provocative behavior and recent refereeing decisions have left her true standing with the audience open to interpretation. The company is expected to monitor crowd reactions as they head toward Money in the Bank 2026 in New Orleans.
