Beclean to expand sewage network in Figa neighborhood
The sewage network in the Figa neighborhood of Beclean is set for a significant expansion. The project involves constructing approximately 9.5 kilometers of sewage lines to transport wastewater to the existing network in Beclean and eventually to the city's purification station.
Financed through the ‘Anghel Saligny’ National Investment Program, the project was signed in September 2024 by the Beclean City Hall and the Ministry of Development. The total investment value is approximately 8.25 million lei. The technical scope includes 226 inspection manholes, eight pumping stations, and roughly 170 individual connections. The works will also involve crossings of Figa 1 Street, the Sărata River, and DJ 172. Once completed and accepted, the network will be managed by Aquabis. This infrastructure development is intended to support the economic and tourism growth of the Figa area, particularly near the Băile Figa spa complex.
